Nice To Meet You

I'M CARLEN

I’m a double-certified health coach (IIN, HCA) who is passionate about helping women 40+ lose weight and reclaim their agency over their health so they can perform at their best.

I sustained 25 years of high performance in finance, not through willpower, but through strategic optimisation I learned as a Swiss national team swimmer.

I know your world. The exhaustion. The impossible demands. The frustration of wanting to prioritise your health but not knowing where to start.

At 50, I walked away from that successful career to become a certified health coach, not because I burned out, but because I wanted to create human transformation and impact, not just optimise balance sheets. I lived it. I sustained it. Now I teach it.

I now help executive women 40+ reclaim control through strategic interventions: sleep optimisation, blood sugar balance, sustainable nutrition, stress management, and root cause work. Not quick fixes. Lasting transformation. I’m bilingual French/English and offer 1:1 coaching online internationally.

I’m bilingual French/English and I believe everyone should have the knowledge and confidence to create nutritious food and experience how it can transform our hea

Frequently Asked Questions

How is a health coach different from a nutritionist or dietitian?

Nutritionists and dietitians focus primarily on food and meal plans. As a health coach, I address all four foundations of health: nutrition, sleep, stress management/connection, and movement. I'm trained in behaviour change, so I help you shift the mindset and patterns keeping you stuck.  Most importantly, I provide ongoing accountability and support to help you implement and sustain changes in your demanding life, not just hand you a plan and hope you follow it.

Will this work for me given my demanding schedule and travel commitments?

Yes, because I design strategies specifically for demanding schedules, not despite them. I spent 25 years in senior finance navigating the same pressures you face: tight deadlines, client dinners, travel, stress, to mention a few. The habits we’ll build together are strategic and sustainable, designed to survive your real life, not wait for perfect conditions.

I'm 65 and on several medications for cholesterol and blood pressure. Am I too old or too far gone for this to work?

Absolutely not. Many of my clients are managing chronic conditions and medications. I can work alongside your GP to support your health optimisation safely. Age and current health status aren't barriers; they're simply our starting point for creating sustainable transformation that can improve your biomarkers and quality of life. Naturally, the longer a pattern has been in place, the more time it may take to shift.  But sustainable change is absolutely possible and I’m committed to supporting you through it!

I've tried everything and failed so many times. How is this different?

You haven't failed; you've been given generic solutions that don't address root causes or fit your specific life. We don't follow another restrictive diet; we identify WHY you're stuck (blood sugar instability, stress responses, sleep issues, emotional eating patterns, mindset, etc.) and fix those underlying drivers. Plus, you have personalised support and accountability throughout, not just a plan you're left to execute alone.

How quickly will I see results?

Most clients notice improved energy and reduced cravings within 2-3 weeks as we stabilise blood sugar and optimise sleep. Weight loss is steady and sustainable—typically 0.5-1kg per week, which preserves muscle and prevents metabolic adaptation. The goal isn't quick dramatic results that disappear; it's building transformation that lasts for life.

I’m considering GLP-1 medications (like Ozempic, Munjaro or Wegovy). Can you help me ?

Absolutely. GLP-1s receptor agonists are powerful medications for the treatment of diabetes and weight management that can generate significant weight loss, and I'm neither for nor against them, I support whatever works for your health goals with your doctor's guidance. However, medications alone don't teach you the skills needed for sustainable health: managing stress, navigating your demanding lifestyle, or building habits that last. Without these skills, you may lose weight but remain dependent on medication indefinitely. Additionally, because GLP-1s suppress hunger signals, slow digestion and increase fullness, many people inadvertently under-eat, losing muscle alongside fat and experiencing nutritional deficiencies. I'll help you nourish your body properly, preserve lean muscle mass, and build the lifestyle skills that ensure your transformation lasts, whether you stay on medication or eventually come off it.

Sleep Well For Better Health

Most women trying to lose weight start with food. I start with sleep. Why? Because exhaustion drives hunger. When you're tired, your body craves quick energy: sugar, carbs, caffeine. In my practice, I’ve seen how small improvements, even 15-30 minutes more quality sleep, create meaningful change: stable energy, fewer cravings, and easier weight management.  Better sleep isn’t a luxury, it’s the foundation everything else builds on.
